Nathan Paquet, CPA, Executive Vice President – Finance

Mr. Paquet is responsible for all finance and accounting aspects of the company including hospitality, construction, development and the corporate holding company. Significant areas of responsibility also include fund and investor level accounting, corporate and development companies’ finance requirements, tax preparation and review, treasury activities as well as supervision of numerous hotel audits and tax returns. Additionally, Nathan is responsible for all accounting, finance and tax functions related to the company’s joint venture and fund entities including but not limited to financial and tax compliance, investor reporting of all types, tax analysis and strategies including deal structuring, investor cash management including capital calls and distributions, and cash flow forecasting at the hotel and ownership entity levels.

Prior to joining the Company in 2010, Nathan worked for eight years as the Fund Accounting Manager at Nautic Partners, LLC, a middle market private equity firm, where he was responsible for the primary accounting, finance, treasury and tax functions for a $1.1 billion fund as well as all investor reporting related to the fund.

Prior to joining Nautic, Nathan worked for Carlin, Charron & Rosen, LLP, a large regional public accounting firm where he obtained valuable experience in the audit, tax, business valuation and litigation support disciplines as a senior accountant.

Mr. Paquet earned a Bachelors Degree in Accounting and a Masters Degree in Professional Accountancy from Rhode Island College.
